This stand is designed for Gemology and will accept SSZ, DSZ and SPZ series microscopes. The stand has dimmable fluorescent and halogen lights as well as a halogen pipe light which allows spot focusing of the light. The fluorescent light is adjustable and provides even illumination from the top. The halogen light illuminates the gem from the bottom and amount of light passing through can be controlled by controlling the Iris in the dark field attachment. Stand can be inclined from 0 to 10 degrees. Comes with a rack & pinion focus mount
